Customer Spotlight: Alain Javier

Alain Javier is the Facilities Manager and Department Safety Coordinator for the UC Davis Libraries on both the main campus and the Medical Library in Sacramento. Alain started his journey with UC Davis as a senior building maintenance worker, then was promoted several years ago to the Library Facilities Manager.

Under the umbrella of Facilities Management's Operations Support, Customer Experience Center processes all work order requests to meet our campus customers' needs.  Facilities Services include – heating/cooling, lighting, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, custodial and general building maintenance. Our mission is to provide our campus customers with the highest standards of performance, safety, communication and customer satisfaction.
