UC Davis Fleet Fueling

To Our Medical Center Customers

Dear Medical Center Fleet Services Customers, please see the attached letter from the Director of Facilities Management Fleet Services on upcoming information on fueling services. Fuel Station Closure May 2022.pdf

Fleet has Transferred to WEX Fuel Cards

WEX is the new fuel card provider. Voyager Fuel Cards no longer work. WEX cards for each Fleet Services vehicle should be picked up at the Dispatch Office.

WEX cards have the same authorizations and can still be used to purchase fuel, oil, and emergency repairs while traveling. Fleet will administer fuel cards for Department Controlled Vehicles (DCV), including boats, moving forward with the WEX contract. ANR and Med Center will continue to administer their own fuel cards.

For campus DCVs requiring fuel cards, please email the following information to vehiclereservation@ad3.ucdavis.edu: unit number, account number, vehicle description, fuel type, and tank capacity.

Please direct any questions regarding Fleet Fuel Cards to vehiclereservation@ad3.ucdavis.edu or call (530) 752-0787.

Self-service fueling options at low recharge prices

Fleet Services' self-service fueling facility offers unleaded gasoline and renewable diesel at low recharge prices.

Computerized Fueling System

Newer models of Fleet vehicles are equipped with an electronic device that is scanned as you drive up to the fueling station. This device automatically activates the fueling system and recharges the fueling cost to the appropriate department once fueling is completed.

Vehicles not equipped with an automated reader are given a proxy key during vehicle pickup. The proxy key works similarly and activates the fueling system at the time of fueling. Replacement proxy keys are $9 each.
