If your request is a facility emergency, call the Customer Support Center

Be prepared to provide the following information:
Specific description and location of the problem
Name and phone number of the department contact person
Department or activity name
Account number (Requests related to department equipment are the funding responsibility
of your department, and will require an authorized account number).
Facility emergencies are situations in which maintenance is required to avoid injury
to humans or animals, damage to facilities, or loss of research. Facilities Management has
limited night and weekend emergency service when repair is required that cannot wait until the
next business day.
If your request is not an emergency, submit an online request, or call
the Customer Support Center (530)752-1655.
UC Davis staff can submit an online work request through our
Web Work Order System.
It's the easiest way for you to track the status of your work. If you've never used the Web Work
Order System, this

Faculty or staff may also request work or report a problem by calling the Customer Support Center

The customer support representative will give you a work order number that you should
write down for future reference.
To check the status of your request
If you submit the work request through the Web Work Order System, you can track the progress
of your request and monitor any charges online.
If you phoned the request, you can check the status by calling the Customer Support Center at
(530)752-1655, and providing the work order number.
