General Habit: Tall deciduous tree. Limbs may be twisted, outer limbs sometimes sweep the ground.
Notes: This specimen (estimated to be about 300 years old) is a 'heritage tree', a term UC Davis reserves for any large, healthy valley oak. Trunks and branches can become massive with heavily fissured bark.
