Blackwood acacia are medium-sized evergreen trees with dark green leaves and cream colored flowers. Thrives in heat and tolerates drought.

Notes: Flowers creamy colored clusters appearing in spring. Surface roots can be a problem with surrounding pavement. Considered invasive in Hawaii. Dark wood is valued for timber.
