The tulip tree is a tall, pyramidal shaped, deciduous tree with green, tulip shaped flowers. Has attractive bright yellow fall foliage.

General Habit: Deciduous tree, fast-growing to 80 ft., pyramid shape.
Notes: Flowers are unique: 2 in. long with yellow green petals and orange corolla; blooms are high in tree April-June. Leaves are a bright green shaped slightly like a tulip. Good shade tree, but not good to garden under.
