The red ironbark eucalyptus is a tall tree with blue-green leaves. Its bark is often blackened on the surface, but cracks reveal red underneath.

General Habit: Evergreen, grows to 80 ft. tall. Growth habit varies from upright to weeping.
Notes: Visible along many freeways and in parks. Furrowed bark can be red. Blue-green leaves turn bronze in winter.
