The Mediterranean fan palm is a small multi-trunked tree. It can tolerate colder temperatures than other palms, but prefers a warmer climate.

General Habit: Evergreen, grows up to 20' tall and wide, with numerous clumps of fan-shaped bluish-green leaves.
Notes: Tolerating temperatures below 10F, the Mediterranean Fan Palm is the hardiest of all palms. It is the only palm indigenous to Europe.
